Montana Wilderness Association

Established in 1964, The Montana Wilderness Association has worked to protect and promote Montana's protected wilderness and public lands.

The association in headquartered in Helena and maintains chapters throughout the state. The site includes a blog following the wilderness and wilderness related politics. (NOTE, the politics is often wilder than the land).

The association will be celebrating 50 years of wilderness from 9/5 through 9/7 at Seeley Lake.
